“Project First Light” is the name of the new destination resort casino that the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe will construct in Taunton, Massachusetts. “First Light” comes from the word Wampanoag or Wopanaak, meaning “People of the First Light.” IE: Casino Of The First Light.
